Martine Davis has found a new way to turn the simple joy of dog ownership into meaningful connection.
After a personal reinvention following a divorce, Martine launched Meet My Paws in May 2025, a platform designed to bring dog owners together.
Not just for walks, but for friendship, advice, travel, and sometimes even romance.
Lift spirits and build community
The idea came from a simple observation. During lockdown, Martine noticed how small encounters with other dog owners could lift spirits and build community.
Combining her years of experience in matchmaking with her love of dogs, she created a platform that makes meeting like-minded people effortless — and free.
"Dogs have this incredible way of bringing people together," Martine tells Gracie-Mae UK Magazine.
"I wanted a space where connection could happen naturally, through something joyful and inclusive."
Meet My Paws platform
The platform allows members to search by location, breed, or even dog name, arranging their own meet-ups, coffee dates, or walks locally and abroad.
Since launching, Meet My Paws has grown across more than 20 countries, including London, Madrid, New York, and Paris, helping hundreds of dog owners form real friendships.
Martine tells us: "My dog, Rusty, is at the heart of it all. He's my co-founder in spirit, Chief Dog Officer, the reason this idea took shape, and proof that life after change can be joyful, colourful and full of new beginnings."
